The study of the discipline assumes the presence of foreign language communicative competence at a level necessary and sufficient for the lesson of English in high school and preparing students for intercultural communication. A prerequisite for the successful realization of the goals of the discipline is the development of a cycle of psychological and pedagogical disciplines that constitute the methodological basis of training. The discipline precedes pedagogical practice, which means the application of theoretical knowledge and the use of formed skills in the conditions of professional activity.

The Purpose of the discipline                     

Based on the new concept of foreign language education, to ensure the quality of professional and methodological training of future teachers of foreign languages, ready and able to effectively implement in their teaching activities the main goal of teaching a foreign language formation of intercultural communicative competence of the subject of intercultural communication.
